Singer and actress Selena Gomez has reportedly been hospitalized for mental health treatment.

The Grand Prairie, Texas, native who has previously hospitalized twice within the last two weeks, is believed to currently be receiving treatment for dialectical behavior at a psychiatric facility on the East Coast.

According to tabloid website TMZ, the first incident occurred in late September. The 26-year-old was at her Studio City, California, home when she became downhearted over an alarmingly low white blood cell count after a kidney transplant in 2017.

Gomez was readmitted in October because her low blood cell count ensued, causing more agony for the young celeb.

She is now receiving dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), used to treat various mental health disorders. Gomez, who was treated at a rehab facility in 2014, has received DBT in the past.

There were several red flags leading up to the star’s hospitalization,. On September 23, Gomez posted an announcement saying she was taking a break from social media. In her message she says, “… Update: taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given.”

Gomez added, “Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi.”

The sad news comes on the heels of her famous ex, pop star Justin Bieber, getting engaged and allegedly (there has been no formal announcement) tying the knot with model Hailey Baldwin.

Bieber, 24 years-old, was spotted looking distraught as he sought comfort at a church in Los Angeles on Wednesday, shortly after the news about Gomez broke.
